ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A defamation lawsuit filed by a Rochester dentist accused of throwing a racist party has been dismissed.
Nicholas Nicosia sued attorney Nathan McMurray, claiming he knowingly spread false statements about him. This all goes back to a party at the dentist’s East Avenue home in 2022.
A Rochester firefighter says he was forced to go to the party where he saw Juneteenth flags over buckets of fried chicken and pictures of local politicians on stakes in the ground. Nicosia denies the party was racist.
Nicosia now has to pay McMurray’s attorney fees.
News10NBC reached out to McMurray for comment but has not yet heard back.
