I am beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my athletic and academic career at Southern Methodist University! I would like to thank my family, friends, and coaches Todd Capen and Glenn Brown for supporting me throughout this process. A special thanks to Coaches Ozzie, Alice, and Mike for giving me this opportunity! PONY UP!

The Illinois native is wrapping up her junior year at Rosary High School, where she has swum on the varsity swimming and diving team since her freshman season. Nawrocki also trains year-round with the Academy Bullets Swim Club, primarily specializing in sprint freestyle and backstroke.
At the Girls’ Illinois High School Association (IHSA) State Championships in November, Nawrocki made a pair of ‘B’ finals, winning the 200 free heat in 1:50.86 for the second consecutive year and placing 10th in the 100 back in 55.95, recording season bests in both. On relays, she helped Rosary claim gold in the 200 free relay, splitting 23.25 on the second leg, and placed fourth in the 400 free relay, splitting 50.84. Rosary finished third as a team, capping a three-year run that included back-to-back state team titles during her freshman and sophomore years.
Nawrocki’s best showing at state came as a sophomore, when she set lifetime bests in both events, winning the 200 free ‘B’ final in 1:50.47 and earning bronze in the 100 back in 55.12. She also helped Rosary take runner-up in the 400 free relay with her fastest relay split of 50.75. As a freshman she split 51.97 on the 400 free relay en route to a team gold, while also placing 10th in the 100 back and 21st in the 200 free individually.
At Winter Juniors – West in December, her third consecutive year qualifying for the meet, Nawrocki finished 59th in the 200 free (1:52.71), 61st in the 100 free (51.21), 67th in the 100 back (56.35), and 77th in the 200 back (2:05.65), posting her current personal best in the 100 free and breaking 24 seconds for the first time with a 23.95 time trial in the 50 free. Her best performance at the meet came in 2024, when she touched 56th in the 100 back.
Nawrocki has shown the most improvement in her sprint free events this season, having entered 2025 with personal bests of 24.30 and 52.03 in the 50/100 free. Her 200 back best of 2:01.03 dates back to a local club meet in January 2025, with her best time over the past year 2:04.06.

At this season’s conference championships, the Mustang women placed 14th out of 15 teams.
To earn a second swim at the 2026 ACCs, it took times of 22.56/48.91/1:46.88 in the 50/100/200 free and 52.61/1:55.26 in the 100/200 back, giving Nawrocki clear times to chase over the next few years.
With the 2026 and 2027 recruiting classes not yet finalized and two years of graduations and potential transfers still ahead, it’s too early to project where she’ll fit into the roster, but her versatility across sprint freestyle and backstroke will make her a valuable relay and dual meet option.
Joining Nawrocki in the Mustangs’ class of 2031 are fellow backstroke/freestyle specialists Molly Barnes and Morgan Farmer. Barnes brings best times of 51.57/1:51.59 in the 100/200 free and 55.46/1:59.14 in the 100/200 back, while Farmer adds depth with times of 24.16/52.40 in the 50/100 free, 56.15/2:02.97 in the 100/200 back, and 55.78 in the 100 fly. The trio should form a strong training group over their four years together.
