The 34-year-old two-time Finals MVP has appeared in 51 of 65 possible contests for his hometown Clippers, and can afford to miss three more bouts down the season’s home stretch while still qualifying for All-NBA honors. Playing against a Bulls team built to lose should help him inflate his stats.

Isaac Okoro was a late scratch, but if he suits up, he’ll likely be Billy Donovan’s first defensive option against Leonard. Jalen Smith and Leonard Miller could also each get a look, as bigger frontcourt players who could conceivably keep up with Leonard on the perimeter. After offloading longtime starting center Ivica Zubac for a bountiful haul from the Indiana Pacers at the trade deadline, LA has been overreliant on soon-to-be-38-year-old Brook Lopez.
