ROCHESTER, N.Y. — QED Technologies is nearing completion of a multi-million dollar expansion of its headquarters on University Avenue in Rochester.

The company, a leader in optics, is adding 20,000 square feet to its facility as it approaches its three-decade anniversary. The expansion costs nearly $19 million.

QED Technologies expects to add up to 72 jobs over the next five years as part of this growth. Currently, the company employs around 90 people in Rochester.
