Colorado’s athletes poised for glory at Milan Cortina Winter Paralympic Games ...Middle East

Colorado is again sending more of its top athletes to Italy. At least 14 Colorado residents are among the 72 athletes competing on behalf of Team USA in the Milan Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games.

Colorado sent more athletes to the Winter Olympics than any other state and those 31 competitors brought home seven medals. Expect a similar haul from the adaptive shredders.

Audrey Crowley, Eagle, 19. First-time Paralympian. Patrick Halgren, Fraser, 33. Competed in the 2022 Winter Paralympics. Allie Johnson, Granby, 31. Competed in 2022 Winter Paralympics.

Sitting

Jasmin Bambur, Granby, 46. GS Slalom Sitting. Skied in the 2010, 2014, 2018 and 2022 Winter Paralympics. Hailey Griffin, Paonia, 34. First-time Paralympian. Kyle Taulman, Winter Park, 24. Competed in the 2022 Winter Paralympics. David Williams, Fraser, 46. Competed in the 2022 Winter Paralympics.

Para Snowboarding

Noah Bury, Fraser, 23. First Winter Paralympics. Zach Miller, Silverthorne, 26. Competed in the 2022 Winter Paralympics.

Wheelchair Curling

Daniel Rose, Aurora, 41. First Winter Paralympics.

Sled Hockey

Declan Farmer, Boulder, 28. Competed in the 2014, 2018 and 2022 Winter Paralympics. Noah Grove, Salida, 26. Competed in the 2018 and 2022 Winter Paralympics. Malik Jones, Aurora, 23. Sled hockey. Competed in 2022 Winter Paralympics.

How to watch

The Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games takes place March 6 -15. It will feature up to 665 Para athletes competing in 79 medal events across six sports.
