How are you doing right now, Jenna? Especially after watching those first three days back again?I mean, I've seen it now three times in three days. I've also had eight months of processing. But the eight months of processing was actually much harder, I think, because you're sitting there wondering what you said, how you're going to be portrayed. You kind of go through everything that you've ever said, and what sounded dumb and where you sounded dumb, things like that. So when you see it, you finally get to process actually what happened or how the edit looks, and you get to see what other players were saying to other players, which you don't know. So it brought some clarity. And I really, really, really think that they gave me a good edit. I was coming in fast, because from the second we landed, it was like there were very clear "pre-connections," we'll call them.Well, I want to start with where things ended. Did you get a sense from Tribal Council that you would be the one going? Or that your name was on the table at all?Yes, I thought I was on the table for Cirie and Ozzy. I thought they were voting me. But I thought that Joe and Savannah, especially Joe, when I did talk to him, he was like, "Yeah, that duo..." I know he just got, you know, kind of screwed over by CKmilla and Kyle the last time. So I kept trying to say, "Don't be with a duo. That's the worst thing to happen. If you're the third, it never ends well for you. I know from Survivor: All-Stars." So if I had been with Cirie and Ozzy, they would have been like, "Oh, Jenna, don't do it again. Don't do it again."But as soon as Savannah was telling me, "Oh, now they're thinking Ozzy," I thought, "Okay, well, then they're not for me. Ozzy and Cirie might be for me, but they're not for me. I think they're kind of getting it." And seeing the Edit last night, seeing what actually happened. I can tell you what I think actually happened..Please!Okay, let's start with Christian Christian, Day 1, comes over. And we're shooting the crap around the circle. And he comes over, and we're asking each other, like, "How do you feel about this person? Who's the biggest threat?" And Christian says, "I'll go sit by who's the biggest threat. Watch." And he goes over, and he sits right next to Cirie, talks to her for three minutes, and then finds a reason to meander back over to me. And he's like, "She's the biggest threat." And I will get Christian eye to eye on this. "If she makes it to merge, she'll be lost in the wind all the people and connections she has over there, and we'll never have a chance again to get her."And I was like, "Dude, okay, I'm down, yes!" And we chatted about being not just a threat, but a liability. Like, we don't know how she's going to do in challenges. And then you, you saw how that went in challenges, but I don't think it came across really how bad it was. So Christian did a lot of that. They're gonna paint this as Cirie. Cirie didn't do any of that. That was all Christian. And Christian talking to Devens is really interesting to me. Because Christian says, "I'm going to be the Spock. You're going to be my Captain Kirk. I'm going to do all of the thinking. You're going to go do the work." It's like almost verbatim. And then it shows Rick Devins walking to the water hole and telling Cirie, "Jenna's pushing for you." He literally sent Rick to go do his dirty work. And Cirie was like, "Oh, really? Why are you coming for me?" I didn't know she was thinking that! I didn't think Christian was running back to tell her. But Christian created that whole thing. That is so interesting. Because the narrative we got was that you were placing too hard and too fast, immediately gunning for Cirie. But I was there for your Final Words, where you remarked that people weren't having game conversations with you until Joe. So were you aware about that perception of you at the time?By the way, I think that's all BS. I think that's a reason. I think you're gonna get al ot of this from people that are coming off. I was not playing fast or harder than anyone else. You watched the same premiere on the other islands. It was the exact same. They're getting bamboo, which means it's like two hours in, and what are they saying? They were throwing out Dee's name and Chrissy's name. So it was no different, honestly, none. But the problem was, it was an emotional thing. I felt on the outs. I talked to Savannah about it. I was like, "Those three. Emily, Devens and Christian." And of course, then, after I read these articles where Christian is like, "Oh, outside of the game, I would consider Emily a good friend." Well, it would have been really nice to start a social game with a really good friend! I didn't know anyone. Haven't had contact with anyone. The only person I knew was Colby. All I wanted to do was be on a tribe with Colby. We saw Stephenie and Colby, and what did she talk about? "Oh my gosh, how lucky am I? I trust him implicitly. We've worked together, we have a bond." I was like, "God, that would have felt nice."And that's what Christian and Emily and Devens had as well. So I was trying to get Joe and Savannah to take action, so then maybe us three could kind of tie in one of the others. We would probably go with Christian and Emily, because they were kind of talking about Ozzy. But Savannah and Joe — and these are the two new school players that are supposed to be playing just as fast and hard! They weren't in on it. They weren't in on Christian and Emily. They sat them down, but Christian, Emily and Devens already had that all planned out. And it was Emily that goes, "Maybe we should do Ozzy." And then Emily brings it to Savannah; they were sitting on that log. And Joe's like, "I don't want to vote Jenna. We're never gonna win another challenge." Maybe he's right... And Savannah was like, "I don't think I want to vote for Jenna." So it was right down to the wire. But Joe and Savannah were the ones. I was like, "Hey, this is not good. This duo and then this grouping, this is not gonna work out for us. We are definitely on the outs."Talk to me more about the Ozzy plan. When were you brought in on it? Because you still end up voting for Cirie at the end of the day.Again, that's why I thought I might get Cirie and Ozzy's vote. But I didn't think the rest of the group. Because the last word that I heard when we were chatting, it was like, "Oh, Ozzy. Okay." And you heard Savannah tell Emily, "Oh, I think I can get Jenna to vote for Ozzy." Yeah, you could have! Definitely would have. But it didn't happen. I was on a walk when that all happened, and they kind of made their decision. I went on a walk maybe right before Tribal Council, but they were still on the fence at that time, Savannah and Joe.For people that are playing so fast, they were making their decision two minutes before Tribal Council, because I just couldn't get them to come together, which is sad. But I did feel that's why, when you said, "You must have felt some of the vote," yeah, I felt like Ozzy and Cirie were probably going to vote for me. But with these guys going, "I think we should vote for Ozzy," I was like, "Okay, you tell me Ozzy, we're good."I want to talk about your relationship with Savannah. In our preseason chat, you were very eager to work with her. Did the "Winner Killer" get any pause, though, when you found out she had won Season 49?No, not at all. In fact, I thought of it as a really good thing, a nice compliment to me and how I play. Because she is that young challenge beast. She told me she won a bunch of challenges. And I thought, "Wow, I need one of these new school players that play fast. She just won." There's literally no one else that you can say knows the game better than the girl who won 10 days before. So I was like, "Oh, this is great. I really want to be with her." I would have happily sat across from her in Tribal Council, absolutely. Because the further I had gotten in this game, the bigger the threat I became, because nobody would have wanted to sit across from me at Tribal. We see a moment where you float out targeting Cirie to Ozzy, who takes a long pause at the idea. And you then call him out to his face how you can't trust him. Talk to me more about that. You see my face. I saw it. I got it. And that's why I brought it to Christian, Devens, Savannah, Joe. Like, "You can't have a duo. There's no way. These two are absolutely together. Duos, it's bad for everyone around them." And they just didn't act on it well. But I knew.Obviously, this was a long-awaited return for you. So how did this vote-out compare to the other two you experienced? The first one, whenever you play the first time, it really is a pure experience. Nobody has pre connection, so you get the purity of someone else. You don't know how they play. You haven't had the chance to literally get them on Zoom calls and have complete coordination on your game. So it's a pure experience, which is so different. It's literally the opposite of this experience. And then when I came for All-Stars, it was new enough that I knew everybody. Now we had not pregamed either, but we had been doing what a lot of these guys are doing, going to all of these Survivor events, seeing each other, so they knew each other. I had known everybody in All-Stars. I think that's what helped me get further. And then I landed on this island, I wasn't even given the benefit of the doubt. Colby was the only person I had, and the only OG. And when you didn't have that one person as a touchstone, I feel like I was kind of sacrificed. On the opening mat, you had said you had learned something about yourself every time you played Survivor. So what did you take away this time around?I think it's nothing about the go hard, go fast, because I really do think everybody did, if you watched any of the other tribes. I think I learned an easily diverted, like I was paying too close attention to Cirie and Ozzy. And I knew that Christian, Devens and Emily were together, but I really didn't grasp the chess master that Christian is. I'm tellingyou. He's so far beyond. He's not just smart, he's brilliant. He caused the Cirie thing. I did not even bring Cirie's name up. He caused all of that. I think he's gonna puppet them. Devens, Emily, I think he's got them right under his thumb. So I was easily diverted. I followed exactly what he said. He's like, "Follow the keys, Jenna. Follow the keys!" And I was like, "Oh, okay, yeah!" But that's trusting easily. But I also had nobody to trust, so I had to trust somebody, and kind of at least try to get in with somebody. And if you're the first one that goes to Tribal Council, you've had two and a half days to get to know these people. These people all have relationships. It was kind of doomed from the start. You compared him to the Chucky Doll. But he used you as a toy!See, I told you! I told you he would get a knife and murder everyone. That's exactly what he's gonna do.
