Charles Bediako appeared in a state circuit court on Friday for an injunction hearing as he looks to remain eligible to finish the season for the Alabama program. Bediako’s legal team hoped to move the hearing to February 16-18, but that motion was denied.
However, with the Crimson Tide set to travel to Auburn on Saturday, no ruling has been made, meaning Bediako “should be available” for the Tide, per AL.com’s Nick Kelly. Bediako has been allowed to play over the past few weeks under a temporary restraining order.
Friday closed without a ruling from judge Daniel Pruet on Charles Bediako’s request for a preliminary injunction or the temporary restraining order. So unless there’s a (unlikely) Saturday ruling from Pruet, Bediako should be available to play today vs. Auburn.

Bediako had 13 points, three rebounds, two blocks, and two steals in 25 minutes off the bench in his first game back, a 79-73 loss to Tennessee. He started the next game, a 90-64 win against Mizzou, and had 18 points and six rebounds in 14 minutes.
The last couple of games haven’t seen Bediako produce on offense nearly as much. He was held to just six points in 24 minutes in the Tide’s blowout loss at Florida, but did record seven rebounds and four blocks. Then, in a win against Texas A&M, he played 19 minutes off the bench but took just two shots, scoring three of his five points from the line while adding four rebounds.
