The city of Greeley will host an open house about the regional plan for west Greeley, and residents are welcome to share their thoughts on future development and infrastructure.
From 6-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26, city officials and planning organization representatives will give a presentation on the current regional plan for west Greeley, with time for attendees to review the plan details, ask questions and share feedback. The open house will be held at the Family FunPlex, 1501 65th Ave. The event is free and open to everyone.
Residents and stakeholders will also get to see how community feedback has informed the vision so far, review updated concepts and share additional insights as the planning process moves forward.
This event builds upon the ideas presented at the community visioning event held in July 2025, which launched this planning effort. At the visioning event, the city collected resident input for the west Greeley subarea plan, a planning roadmap covering the 22 square miles west of 83rd Avenue that ensures housing, transportation and jobs are designed around actual community needs.
According to Deputy City Manager Rachel Flynn at the last meeting, this project is focused on creating a roadmap for the entirety of west Greeley, with a focus on what residents want for the area and what best supports the city’s goals of business growth, community vitality and transportation choices. It is not related to the Cascadia or Catalyst projects also occurring in west Greeley.
