Culture, Parks and Recreation Department Culture Board Consolidation Culture, Parks and Recreation Director Diana Frick will present a request to the council to consolidate three existing Culture Division boards into a single Arts & Culture Commission. This proposal aims to streamline roles and responsibilities and modernize the organization of advisory support. Wildfire Resiliency Adoption Fire Chief Brian Kuznik will introduce the new statewide Colorado Wildfire Resiliency Code and map, which Greeley is required to adopt by April 1 under Colorado Senate Bill 23-166, approved in 2023. The code establishes new minimum distances in at-risk fire areas and requires new construction to utilize materials that reduce wildfire vulnerability.The public is invited to attend council work sessions in person or remotely. Work sessions are intended for council discussion and overview of key topics and will not be open for public comment.
