Bills Take on the Broncos

The Bills and Broncos meet in a rematch of the Wild Card last year that saw the Bills beat up the Broncos 31-7 in Buffalo. This year, the Broncos are at home thanks to a 14-3 record and a dominant defense that had a league-leading 68.0 sacks during the regular season. Denver will be putting all of its focus into stopping Josh Allen, who had 2 rushing touchdowns and a TD pass last week to knock out the Jaguars 27-24.

These teams have only met twice in the NFL playoffs in history. The Bills have won both contests. In 1991, the Bills beat the Broncos in the AFC Championship Game before losing to the Washington Redskins 37-24 in Super Bowl XXVI.

The Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers will meet again as these teams are prepared for a third contest this season. The first was all the way back in week 1, and the 49ers picked up a 17-13 win. The second was in week 18, and a 13-3 win from the Seahawks gave them a first-round bye while the 49ers headed to Philadelphia for a Wild Card matchup. San Francisco picked up a 23-19 win to set up the rubber match, with the loser to be sent packing.

These teams have met in only two postseason contests in NFL history. In 2022, the 49ers beat Seattle 41-23 in the Wild Card and reached the NFC Championship Game that season. Back in 2013, the Seahawks beat the 49ers in the NFC Title Game to advance to the Super Bowl. The Seahawks went on to beat the Broncos 43-8 in Super Bowl XLVIII.
