CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. — The Ontario County District Attorney’s Office has expanded its leadership team with a new appointment.

District Attorney Jason McBride announced Sara Van Strydonck as the county’s new Chief Assistant District Attorney.

Van Strydonck brings more than 20 years of prosecutorial experience, having most recently served as the Chief of the Special Victims Unit in Monroe County’s District Attorney’s Office.

As Chief Assistant District Attorney, Van Strydonck will help oversee legal operations and support attorneys across the office.
