Neither Florida nor Tulane — Gators head coach Jon Sumrall‘s former school — offered him out of high school. Before committing to Stanford, he took official visits to Arizona State, Duke, SMU, and Texas A&M as part of his recruitment process.
The Gators, according to 247Sports, have now added 16 players in the transfer portal. They’ve had 30 players enter the portal, so there are still a number of roster spots left for Sumrall to fill.
