County Sheriffs of Colorado will award a $500 scholarship to a Weld County student.
The scholarship is open to any permanent resident of Weld County attending a vocational training or higher education school in Colorado. There are no restrictions for course of study, trade, age, gender or race.
Applications are due Feb. 27, and will be judged by a residents committee appointed by Weld County Sheriff Steve Reams. The committee will judge applications based on leadership, merit, character, involvement and career purpose.
