What’s on Starbucks' Winter Menu in 2026?

While people line up to try new options as soon as the holiday menu is launched, there tends to be less fanfare around the winter menu.
If you walk into a Starbucks coffeehouse this winter, you can expect to find these 15 tasty options:

I tasted all of them in one round to compare them, and then followed that up by taking my time with each drink and snack to see how they tasted over time (most got better with more sipping and snacking). I took sips of water between each drink and snack to cleanse my palate.

Starbucks' 15 Winter Menu Items for 2026, Ranked Worst To Best
I mentioned this above, but it's worth repeating. I’ve been tasting and testing Starbucks’ new seasonal menu options for years, and this might be their best one yet. I didn’t have any preconceived thoughts about how I’d like these drinks and snacks, but I was blown away by how good they all are. There’s only one drink I’m not obsessed with, but I didn’t hate it. Of course, the downside to a truly epic seasonal menu is that you can be paralyzed by choice when it comes time to order. Consider this your guide on where to start. But, seriously, you can’t go wrong with any of the options. Related: 20 Must-Make Starbucks Copycat Recipes, Including the Lemon Loaf, Pink Drink & PSL
15. Caramel Protein Latte
Courtesy Korin Miller
Something had to land at the bottom of the list, and unfortunately, that was the Caramel Protein Latte. If you enjoy having your Starbucks latte with caramel syrup, you'll notice this just tastes...different. Thanks to the protein-infused milk, it has a whopping 27 grams of protein for a grande size, but the flavor is a little off from a regular caramel latte and there was a caramel-y aftertaste that wasn't my favorite. (It's not bad, per se—just different.) But if you're looking to add a solid amount of protein into your day and aren't married to the flavor of a classic caramel latte, this is still worth sipping.
14. Ellenos Strawberry Shortcake Yogurt
Courtesy Korin Miller
Ellenos yogurt, which is sold at retailers like Walmart, Costco and some grocery chains, is making its debut at Starbucks this season. Ellenos is known for its classic yogurt recipe that delivers a smooth, creamy texture and rich taste without gums and fillers. The Ellenos Strawberry Shortcake yogurt is delicious, full stop. In keeping with a lot of the new Starbucks menu items, it has a solid serving of protein (14 grams, to be exact). But it's also really sweet, thanks to that strawberry jam and cookie crumble topping. The combination of the two makes it hard to finish the whole thing, especially when you get to the bottom of the container where the jam tends to linger. (Pro tip: Stir it up as soon as you open it.)For me, the sweetness made this feel more like a dessert than a breakfast food. If you want something lighter, definitely go with the no-added-sugar yogurt option. But if you're craving something sweet that will also fill you up, this is a solid choice.Related: The 7 Best Greek Yogurts, According to Dietitians
13. Iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha
Courtesy Korin Miller
This is just one of two drinks Starbucks unveiled that leans into the Dubai chocolate trend (a blend of pistachio and chocolate flavors). While I'm impressed that Starbucks wanted to branch out even more by adding matcha to the mix, there's a lot happening here, leading to an unusual blend of flavors. It all works together, and I didn't hate it, but it's definitely not going to be for everyone. You can clearly taste the pistachio, chocolate and matcha, which is kind of a mishmash of flavors. This drink is really rich, making it hard to finish a grande. My take: This is worth trying at least once. It's unique, if nothing else. Just be sure to order a tall instead of a grande.
12. Ellenos No Added Sugar Muesli Greek Yogurt

I'll be upfront here: You'll either really like this or not so much. People are unlikely to be in between with Ellenos' No Added Sugar Muesli Greek Yogurt. This is a healthier choice at Starbucks and it admittedly tastes that way. The yogurt on its own has a slightly sour tang and is very creamy. The muesli helps to cut some of that sourness, although there isn't a lot of it. This yogurt contains a whopping 18 grams of protein and it's really filling, allowing you to get in something that's pretty good for you when you're on the go. If you tend to like healthy-tasting foods and aren't into foods that are sweet, you'll likely love this. It's also a nice complement to some of Starbucks' sweeter drinks, so you don't feel like you're having a sugar bomb in one sitting.

8. Pistachio Crème Frappuccino
Courtesy Korin Miller
Whether you're craving a treat without caffeine or just want something seriously creamy, the Pistachio Crème Frappuccino is here for you. This drink has a very distinct vanilla milkshake flavor and feel, with a little pistachio thrown in. In fact, it's hard to distinguish it from an actual milkshake. The whipped cream and salted brown butter topping tie the whole thing together. It's a lot of sweetness at once, but if you're in the mood for a dessert you can sip, it's worth ordering.
7. Pistachio Cortado
Courtesy Korin Miller
Sometimes you just want a flavorful drink that's simple and small. In this menu, that drink is the Pistachio Cortado. The blend of espresso, steamed milk and pistachio flavor is rich and flavorful drink but it isn't overwhelming. While the pistachio flavor is clearly there, it's not overly sweet and doesn't overpower the flavor of the milk and espresso. I thought the smaller serving was the perfect size.

5. Truffle, Mushroom & Brie Egg Bites
Courtesy Korin Miller
Truffle can be a tricky flavor to nail. Some truffle-flavored foods can have a fake flavor or a weird aftertaste, but that's not an issue with the Truffle, Mushroom & Brie Egg Bites. You can taste (and smell) the truffle right away, but Starbucks still left enough space for the flavors of mushroom and Brie to shine through. These are easy to nosh on, whether you have time to sit and eat or are in the car. Just one caveat to note: Truffle, mushrooms and Brie can each be polarizing flavors for people. If you're iffy on any one of these ingredients, take a pass and go for one of the brand's other egg bites.Related: A French Chef Says Almost Everyone Eats Brie Wrong—Here’s What To Do Instead
4. Pistachio Coffee Frappuccino
Courtesy Korin Miller
Starbucks has a whole array of frappuccinos to choose from, but the Pistachio Coffee Frappuccino is impressive. It's a nice alternative to the other options on the menu, delivering a subtle pistachio flavor without being too intense. This frapp is incredibly refreshing and a delicious treat when you need caffeine, but are also craving something sweet. It's the perfect thing to sip to help you cool off when you're over being blasted by indoor heat.
3. Iced Dubai Chocolate Mocha
Courtesy Korin Miller
While I wasn't entirely sold on the Iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha, I was blown away by the Iced Dubai Chocolate Mocha. This leans more heavily into classic Dubai chocolate flavors (no matcha here!) and it really captures the essence of the trend. The drink has a rich feel and taste, while standing out from everything else Starbucks offers. And while it's sugary, I noticed that other people who tried it and don't usually like sweet drinks still loved this. Like the matcha version, that richness can be a lot once you get further into your drink. I recommend getting a smaller size and savoring it.Related: Starbucks or Dunkin': Who Really Has the Best Egg Bites?
2. Pistachio Latte
Courtesy Korin Miller
Pistachio isn't usually the first flavor people reach for when they want to enhance their latte (that honor tends to go to vanilla, chocolate and caramel). But if you've never tried pistachio flavoring with your coffee, the Pistachio Latte should change your mind. This drink highlights the pistachio flavor, but it's not overwhelming. Instead, the pistachio highlights the espresso and milk, creating a deeper, smoother taste than if you were to use something like sugar. While some of the other new items are better enjoyed here and there, this can be a new daily drink—while it's on the menu, of course.
