Mackenzie Blackwood and Scott Wedgewood had been mentioned as potential additions in recent speculation. The netminders sit in the top two spots for best save percentage among goalies with 10 starts or more. Wedgewood has the most wins, and each has one regulation loss this season and two shutouts.
The Thunder Bay, Ontario native missed the first couple of weeks due to an offseason injury and started his first game on Nov. 1. He is 12-1-1 in 15 games played with a 2.15 goals against average.
