ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The U.S. freestyle aerial team trained at Bristol Mountain on Wednesday. They’re preparing for the Olympic qualifying competition in Lake Placid, set for January.
The team includes Pittsford native and Olympic gold medalist Chris Lillis. Training sessions are scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday.
A freestyle aerial exhibition is open to the public on Wednesday at 7 p.m., offering a chance to see top freestyle ski athletes in action.
Bristol Mountain will also host a New Year’s Eve celebration from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., featuring a torchlight parade down the mountain and fireworks.
