With just one week remaining in the NFL’s regular season, a big chunk of the draft order is nearly set. So, let’s run through another 2026 NFL Mock Draft.
Who will the Raiders take as the new team at the top of the draft board? What will the Chiefs do with a top ten pick? Can the Bears add an impact defender late in the first round?
Let’s get to it.
2026 NFL Mock Draft
1. Las Vegas Raiders: QB Fernando Mendoza – Indiana
After losing (or winning?) the Tank Bowl with the Giants, the Raiders are now on the clock to pick first overall. Right now, it feels like Fernando Mendoza is the top QB on most draft boards, though that could potentially change as the College Football Playoff and NFL Draft process move along. But for now, the Raiders take their new QB1.
2. New York Giants: LB Arvell Reese – Ohio State
The Giants end up with a pretty solid consolation prize despite dropping to the second overall pick. They select one of, if not the most talented, defensive players on the board with the star linebacker from Ohio State.
3. New York Jets: QB Dante Moore – Oregon
No trade up for the Jets this time, and they still end up with one of the top quarterbacks on the board. They may have to consider moving up a slot if they want their pick of the remaining quarterbacks, however.
Mandatory Credit: Troy Wayrynen-Imagn Images4. Tennessee Titans: EDGE Rueben Bain Jr. – Miami
The Titans have a ton of holes left to fill on their roster, and EDGE is one of them. Bain Jr. is likely going to end up as the top EDGE on the board, and he was lights out against Texas A&M in Miami’s CFP opener. I think the Titans take him in this spot.
5. Arizona Cardinals: QB Ty Simpson – Alabama
The Kyler Murray era seems pretty over in Arizona as the Cardinals continue to spiral. With potentially a new head coach and GM (though not guaranteed) next year, a reset with a first-round quarterback seems like a logical choice. It might be early for Simpson on a lot of boards, but QBs always tend to rise as we get closer to the draft. They could go OL here, but I think they take a QB.
6. Cleveland Browns: WR Jordyn Tyson – Arizona State
I have no idea yet if Cleveland likes Shedeur Sanders enough to keep him around for another year, but they’ve given him the rest of this season, and the 2027 quarterback class is stacked. Would they take the third QB off the board, or go with a piece that they know can really help them? I think it’s the latter.
7. Washington Commanders: S Caleb Downs – Ohio State
Safety might not be considered a premier position, but Caleb Downs is an elite defender and playmaker on that side of the football. I think they’d have a hard time passing on him if this is how the board shook out.
8. New Orleans Saints: RB Jeremiyah Love – Notre Dame
Saints Head Coach Kellen Moore knows the value of a strong running game from his time in Dallas and Philly. Tyler Shough has gotten better every week, and one of the best ways to help a young quarterback along is to have a dynamic running game. Love does just that. He helps in the run game and is a great receiver out of the backfield as well. He gives the Saints a potential dynamic Alvin Kamara replacement.

The Chiefs aren’t used to making top ten picks! They use this spot to take their top tackle on the board and start to rebuild an offensive line that really needs some help.
10. Cincinnati Bengals: OT Francis Mauigoa – Miami
Quarterback Joe Burrow is back from injury, but the Bengals need to improve their protection around him. This pick gives Cincinnati the chance to take a player some believe is the top tackle in this draft class.
11. Miami Dolphins: CB Mansoor Delane – LSU
The Dolphins add arguably the top cornerback in the draft here, which helps fill a big need, despite also needing help in the trenches on both sides of the ball.
12. Los Angeles Rams (via ATL): CB Jermod McCoy – Tennessee
The Rams don’t have a ton of needs, but cornerback is one of them, and they use a rare chance to draft early to fill that hole.
13. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: EDGE Keldric Faulk – Auburn
Tampa Bay keeps sliding down the draft order, and no matter where they end up, I think they’ll have to address their struggles getting to the quarterback. Faulk helps them in a big way there.
14. Dallas Cowboys: EDGE David Bailey – Texas Tech
Dallas needs help getting to the QB after trading away Micah Parsons. Keeping David Bailey in the state of Texas in this slot would be a great value for how talented and productive he is at a premier position.
15. Detroit Lions: EDGE T.J. Parker – Clemson
Aidan Hutchinson is great, but the Lions have struggled to find a consistent option opposite him. They could very well take a shot at that here with this pick. I wouldn’t be surprised with a corner going here either, but I think they might rely on getting healthier in that position and drafting an EDGE.
16. Baltimore Ravens: DT Peter Woods – Clemson
The Ravens, as they often do, end up with a talented player who ends up falling to them, and they don’t hesitate to make the pick. Woods has a top-10 ceiling, but he has had a down season, and Baltimore desperately needs help stopping the run. This could be a great landing spot for both sides.
17. Minnesota Vikings: CB Avieon Terrell – Clemson
Brian Flores’ defense needs some help on the interior D-line despite the Vikings’ spending spree there last offseason, but they need help at cornerback even more. They get one of the top players on the board at that position.
18. New York Jets (via IND): WR Carnell Tate – Ohio State
Wide receiver might not be their biggest need, but adding Carnell Tate to their group of pass catchers adds a versatile weapon for their young QB. Tate is an elite deep threat and would be a welcome addition to the Jets receiver group.
19. Carolina Panthers: EDGE Cashius Howell – Texas A&M
The Panthers have been a fun story at times this year, but an area they can improve in is getting to the quarterback. Cashius Howell would help fill that need.
20. Pittsburgh Steelers: WR Makai Lemon – USC
The Steelers’ offense is stagnant, and they desperately need help alongside DK Metcalf. Lemon would add a dangerous, versatile weapon to a Pittsburgh team that could really use one.
21. Dallas Cowboys (via GB): LB Sonny Styles – Ohio State
At this point of the first round, Dallas might be in “best player available” territory, and Sonny Styles is a really good one. While he doesn’t play at a premier position, he’s incredibly talented and would help Dallas on that side of the ball.
22. Los Angeles Chargers: IOL Olaivavega Ioane – Penn State
The Chargers’ offensive line is reeling, and they’ve really struggled to protect Justin Herbert as the season has gone on. Granted, they’ve had injuries. Fortifying the interior seems like a very Jim Harbaugh selection.
23. Buffalo Bills: LB CJ Allen – Georgia
The Bills need some help defensively. I wouldn’t be stunned if they built along the defensive line, but I also think there’s something to drafting the best players from college teams like Georgia. Add to the defense with one of Kirby Smart’s best players.
24. Los Angeles Rams: OT Kadyn Proctor – Alabama
Proctor is a monster on the offensive line for Alabama. While he could use a little bit of development in his technique, going to a team like the Rams would afford him the opportunity to get that development.
Mandatory Credit: Brett Davis-Imagn Images25. Philadelphia Eagles: TE Kenyon Sadiq – Oregon
If Dallas Goedert does indeed leave in free agency, this would feel like a nice replacement, giving the Eagles a playmaker at tight end.
26. Houston Texans: OT Caleb Lomu – Utah
Whoever the Texans view as the top offensive lineman on their board here is who they should take. They’ve gotten so much better as the year has gone on, but they still need help up front.
27. Cleveland Browns (via JAX): OT Gennings Dunker – Iowa
Earlier in their draft, Cleveland filled a need at wide receiver. Now, with their second pick in the first round, I think they add to their offensive line.
28. San Francisco 49ers: WR Denzel Boston – Washington
The 49ers offense is humming, and they’re doing so without a true top wide receiver. Boston might not be a true #1 in the NFL, but he’s another really talented and dynamic option for Kyle Shanahan and that efficient offense.
29. Chicago Bears: EDGE Gabe Jacas – Illinois
As of now, he’s still a bit of a first-round reach, but I’ve been saying the past few weeks, and I mean it, that I think he’s going to rise up draft boards due to his measurables and athleticism. He had 11 sacks for the Illini this season, can play the run well, and is truly an explosive football player on the defensive line. The Bears desperately need help getting to the quarterback, and I think this is a fit, especially with Defensive Coordinator Dennis Allen, who likes bigger-framed players at EDGE.
Mandatory Credit: Ron Johnson-Imagn Images30. New England Patriots: EDGE Matayo Uiagalelei – Oregon
The Patriots have had an awesome year, but they still have a few holes to fill, and EDGE is one of them. Uiagalelei’s sack numbers haven’t been super flashy for Oregon this year, but his ceiling is intriguing, and he’s someone Mike Vrabel would probably jump at the chance to develop.
31. Denver Broncos: DT Kayden McDonald – Ohio State
The Broncos don’t have a ton of needs, but adding depth and beefing up the defensive line is always a good idea, and they would be in a unique position to draft a really good one here late in the first round.
32. Seattle Seahawks: Keith Abney II – Arizona State
Interior offensive line and cornerback are two of the bigger needs for Seattle in this draft. Given how the board has shaken out in this mock, I think cornerback is the direction they take.
