With 2025 coming to a close, a lot of folks and production houses are doing the “best plays of 2025” thing, which I certainly do enjoy. Remembering stuff is fun.
I particularly appreciated, however, that Marquee also put out a top ten funny moments of the year from the 2025 Chicago Cubs season:

1.) The Laptop Guy being number one is a miss, because to me, taking your laptop to the bleachers is a completely normal thing to do.
2.) The Cubs absolutely must win again in 2026 so that we get more Shota Imanaga and Daniel Palencia champagne celebrations.
3.) The funniest moment of the year was not featured on the list, but I completely understand why Marquee didn’t have the balls guts to include it.
