WOLCOTT, N.Y. — A Wayne County man faces an obstructing governmental administration charge after a missing juvenile was found to have been in his apartment.
According to Wayne County deputies, Jon D. Godkin, 18, of Wolcott withheld information and gave false information to investigators looking for the juvenile, a girl who was believed to be in the area of Godkin’s home. It was later discovered that the missing girl was located in Godkin’s apartment and that Godkin knew about it.
The girl was turned over to her parents. Godkin was ticketed and is to appear later in Wolcott Village Court.
