ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Two pedestrians have been hospitalized after Rochester Police say they were both hit by cars in two separate crashes in Rochester Saturday.
The first one happened at around 1:04 p.m. in the area of Brown and Silver Street. Police say they found a 58-year-old with a lower body injury after being hit by a car. They say the driver left the area before officers got there and hasn’t been identified.
The pedestrian was brought to the hospital for evaluation.
Moments later at around 1:11 p.m. police say they responded to the area of North Clinton Avenue for another report of a pedestrian hit. When they got there, police say they found a 38-year-old injured. The person was brought to the hospital for treatment.
The driver that police say hit the pedestrian on North Clinton stayed there. They also say speed or alcohol don’t seem to be factors in this crash, and no arrests have been made.
