After the long break, the Bulls have gotten relatively healthier, though definitely not back to full strength. The list of names on the injury report is long, but the majority of the players have ‘PROBABLE’ tags next to their names, so that’s a plus. However, Ayo Dosunmu and Kebin Huerter both remain out this evening. So, while Billy Donovan is getting some depth back, two of his favorite options off the bench still will not be at his disposal in this one. Coby White’s name is popping up in trade rumors, which we expected to happen at some point this season. Minnesota is the team attached to the most current rumor, and they reportedly are interested in making a move to address their needs sooner rather than later. I’m interested to see how Coby looks tonight with his name floating around. I wouldn’t expect it to throw him off much, but at the same time, it can’t be easy to ignore, and it’s the first time he’s really been seriously involved in this process, or at least to this extent. The Charlotte Hornets are down several guards tonight, so you would think the Bulls might have a few backcourt matchups they can try to take advantage of. Speaking of Coby White, on paper, this should be a really good matchup for him, and he always seems to like returning home to North Carolina. I would think tonight has the potential to be a really productive one for Josh Giddey, too. All in all, it’s a game that, on paper, the Bulls should win, but that’s been the case quite often over this seven-game losing streak, so we shall see.Injury Report
