The National Baseball Hall of Fame today announced the winner of the 2026 Ford C. Frick Award, which honors excellence in broadcasting.
It’s Joe Buck, who has called more World Series games than any other broadcaster and, despite some of the hate he receives, was perfectly good at the job:

He was a Saturday staple in homes across America while still serving as the voice of his hometown St. Louis Cardinals.”
