With Week 14 of the NFL season in the books, let’s take a look at another 2026 NFL Mock Draft.
With the Giants now sitting at the top spot, would they trade down to a quarterback-needy team? It’s certainly possible, if not likely in my opinion. Plus, the Rams add their Matthew Stafford replacement, the Bears address their EDGE issues, and a whole lot more.
Let’s get to it.
2026 NFL Mock Draft
1. New York Jets (via NYG): QB Fernando Mendoza – Indiana
If the Giants end up with the top pick, they will almost certainly deal it. I’m sure they’d rather not trade it across town, but the Jets need a QB and are armed with extra first-rounders after selling at the deadline. After Mendoza’s big win over Ohio State, he’s probably the top QB on the board, but that is very subject to change in the coming months.
2. Las Vegas Raiders: QB Dante Moore – Oregon
Vegas keeps climbing to the second overall pick, and they make it two QBs in a row by selecting Dante Moore.
3. Tennessee Titans: LB Arvell Reese – Ohio State
Despite dropping to the third pick, Tennessee still gets its guy. The Titans took their quarterback last year. This year, they address the other side of the ball with one of the top defensive players in the draft.

I have no idea yet if Cleveland likes Shedeur Sanders enough to keep him around for another year, but they’ve given him the rest of this seaso, and the 2027 QB class is stacked. Would they take the third QB off the board, or go with a piece that they know can really help them?
5. New Orleans Saints: EDGE Rueben Bain Jr. – Miami
Given how loaded next year’s class appears to be at quarterback and how much help their roster needs all over, I think the Saints would choose to address a position other than quarterback and give Tyler Shough some time on the job. Bain is arguably the top EDGE in the draft and can help that defense right away.
6. Washington Commanders: S Caleb Downs – Ohio State
No, safety isn’t considered a premier position, but sometimes you just have to take the best player on the board, especially if that player is as good as Caleb Downs. Downs is probably the top player on multiple big boards in this year’s NFL Draft, and the Commanders’ defense needs a complete overhaul. Going out and getting a surefire thing wouldn’t be a bad decision.
7. New York Giants (via NYJ): WR Carnell Tate – Ohio State
Tate makes a big jump up to the top ten this week. The Giants could stand to add another weapon for Jaxson Dart, and he’s an incredibly dangerous deep threat that would complement a returning Malik Nabers very well.
8. Arizona Cardinals: OT Spencer Fano – Utah
The Cardinals also need a quarterback. They could very well opt for one here, but if they don’t love one, taking the top offensive tackle on the board would be a solid option.
9. Los Angeles Rams (via ATL): QB Ty Simpson – Alabama
The Rams are in a unique spot with two first-round picks this year, while also needing a QB of the future. Simpson and Alabama have struggled a bit the last few weeks, but that’s largely been due to a lack of a run game. With this opportunity to select early, the Rams draft their QB to sit and learn behind Matthew Stafford for a year or two.

Joe Burrow is back from injury and looking really good. The Bengals need to improve their protection for him, and this gives them the chance to take the top tackle on the board for some.
11. Minnesota Vikings: CB Jermod McCoy – Tennessee
Brian Flores’ defense needs some help on the interior DL despite the Vikings’ spending spree there last offseason, but they need help at cornerback even more. They get their top one on the board here.
12. Miami Dolphins: CB Mansoor Delane – LSU
The Dolphins add arguably the top cornerback in the draft here, which helps fill a big need, despite also needing help in the trenches on both sides of the ball.
13. Baltimore Ravens: DT Peter Woods – Clemson
The Ravens, as they often do, end up with a very talented player who ends up falling to them, and they don’t hesitate to make the pick. Woods has a top-10 ceiling, but he has had a down season, and Baltimore desperately needs help stopping the run. This could be a great landing spot for both sides.
14. Kansas City Chiefs: RB Jeremiyah Love – Notre Dame
The Chiefs aren’t used to drafting this high! Is running back a bit of a luxury pick? Maybe. But Jeremiyah Love is one of, if not the most talented players in this draft, and would bring another explosive element to Andy Reid’s offense.

Faulk is another candidate to be the top EDGE off the board in this draft. Dallas needs help getting to the QB. Getting Faulk here would be a great value for how talented he is at a premier position. There’s a very decent chance that he’s gone by this point, but it’s not outside the realm of possibility.
16. Carolina Panthers: EDGE TJ Parker – Clemson
The Panthers have been a fun team this year, but an area they can improve in is getting to the quarterback. Parker would help fill that need.
17. Detroit Lions: EDGE David Bailey – Texas Tech
Aidan Hutchinson is great, but the Lions have struggled to find a consistent option opposite him. They could very well take a shot at that here.
18. New York Jets (via IND): WR Makai Lemon – USC
Wide receiver might not be their biggest need, but adding Makai Lemon to their group of pass catchers adds a versatile weapon for their young QB. If the Jets trade up to #1, it’s certainly possible this pick is involved, but for now, we’ll just leave it with the Jets.
19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: EDGE Cashius Howell – Texas A&M
The Bucs fill a need by adding one of the most productive edge rushers in college football this season. Howell has been very good at A&M this season and could easily rise up draft boards as the offseason progresses.
20. Pittsburgh Steelers: WR Denzel Boston – Washington
The Steelers’ offense is stagnant, and they desperately need help alongside DK Metcalf. Boston would add a dangerous, versatile weapon to a Pittsburgh team that could really use one.
21. Philadelphia Eagles: OT Kadyn Proctor – Alabama
The Eagles need help more so on the interior OL, so Vega Ioane will be an option here, too. Having said that, Lane Johnson isn’t getting any younger. Proctor is a massive prospect at 6’7, 366 lbs. However, he needs to get a little better at moving laterally and playing with lower pad level. Starting him off at right guard, playing him next to Lane Johnson, while possibly grooming him to take over that spot, could make a lot of sense, and give Philly an absolute mauler in the run game that they could use.
22. Houston Texans: OT Gennings Dunker – Iowa
Despite playing some very good football lately, Houston desperately needs to build up its offensive line. Trading away Laremy Tunsil last offseason only exposed that need even more. I think the Texans will add their favorite tackle remaining, whoever that is.
23. Chicago Bears: EDGE Matayo Uiagalelei – Oregon
The Bears need help getting to the quarterback. Montez Sweat has been fine this year, but not a game-breaker. They’ve struggled to find any consistent help opposite him, though Austin Booker is trending upward, but they should still address that with this pick.
Oregon outside linebacker Matayo Uiagalelei sacks Montana State quarterback Justin Lamson as the Oregon Ducks host the Montana State Bobcats on Aug. 30, 2025, at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Oregon.24. Buffalo Bills: Avieon Terrell – Clemson
While the offense is still electric, the defense in Buffalo lacks playmakers. He doesn’t have an INT yet this year. Terrell has four forced fumbles, three sacks, and nine pass breakups.
25. Los Angeles Chargers: IOL Olaivavega Ioane – Penn State
Interior offensive line is a need for the Chargers. Knowing how Jim Harbaugh thinks and drafts, I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see him address that in the first round.
26. San Francisco 49ers: OT Caleb Lomu – Utah
The Niners will have to replace Trent Williams at some point. This feels like a place for them to do that, especially with a rock-solid tackle on the board.
27. Cleveland Browns (via JAX): CB Colton Hood – Tennessee
There are a few routes the Browns could go here. They can address the offensive line, beef up somewhere in their already solid front seven, get another playmaker, or take a corner. I think, given how the board has played out, cornerback is the route to go.
28. Dallas Cowboys (via GB): LB Sonny Styles – Ohio State
At this point of the first round, Dallas might be in “best player available” territory, and Sonny Styles is a really good one. While he doesn’t play at a premier position, he’s incredibly talented and would help Dallas on that side of the ball.
29. Seattle Seahawks: IOL Connor Lew – Auburn
The Seahawks have a pretty deep roster at the moment, but they could stand to improve their interior offensive line. Grey Zabel was a nice start last year, and this pick could be another piece.
30. New England Patriots: EDGE Gabe Jacas – Illinois
The Patriots right now are picking last, but still have a few holes to fill, and EDGE is one of them. Jacas has put up some nice numbers in 2025. He’s incredibly athletic, has a high motor, and feels like a guy Mike Vrabel would really like. I think we’ll see him climb draft boards during the offseason.
31. Los Angeles Rams: Brandon Cisse – South Carolina
Going with a cornerback or a tackle seems like it would make the most sense here. Neither option would surprise me at all; it just depends on who they like most in this spot, I think.
32. Denver Broncos: TE Kenyon Sadiq – Oregon
A good tight end is a quarterback’s best friend, and Sean Payton has had quite a bit of success developing tight ends. If he slips here, Sadiq would be a really nice fit in Denver.
