Enhanced Box Score: Nets 113, Bulls 103 – December 3, 2025 ...Middle East

Well. That was a game that happened.

The defense wasn’t great tonight, but it wasn’t the biggest problem. The Bulls just feel lost offensively. In the past two weeks, the Chicago Bulls have lost to the New Orleans Pelicans, Indiana Pacers, Brooklyn Nets, and Charlotte Hornets – all teams that are 10 games under .500 or worse. I know I’m just the fill-in Bulls guy for right now, so I don’t want to make any outlandish statements, but that feels like maybe a case where the head coach has lost the team, even if Billy Donovan is objectively a good basketball coach.

The Bulls started slow in this one, and, well, they stayed slow for the entire game. Sure, in the second half, they cut Brooklyn’s lead to six or eight points at times, but every time they did that, the Nets would come back down the floor and bury a shot to extend their lead.

I understand that the Bulls were pretty banged up tonight. Coby White, Kevin Huerter, Zach Collins, and Tre Jones, among others were all inactive. But still, that doesn’t excuse the lack of offensive execution. During Chicago’s 6-1 start, it felt like a team that was moving the ball well and getting everyone involved. Now, it feels like a team that relies on Josh Giddey to make a play, whether that’s scoring or finding an open man on a kickout. What was once an offense built on ball movement has regressed to one that just kind of stands around.

I apologize if this wasn’t a game recap as much as it was a rant on where the Bulls are at, but it’s just frustrating. This game doesn’t deserve a recap. It deserves a rant. This team is more talented and better than how they’re playing. Are they an NBA title contender? No, of course not. But they’re better than what they’ve put on tape the last two weeks. We saw how good they can be when they started, and they’ve lost their way in what has been a very easy stretch of their schedule.

Let’s hope they can get somewhat healthier, string something together, and figure it out against a bad Pacers team.
