Eastbound 16th Street reopened Friday as the city works on improvements to a stretch of the road from 7th to 11th avenues.
The city posted an update Monday on the project’s webpage on Speak Up Greeley, noting the plans to open the eastbound lane by Nov. 30. By Friday afternoon, the road had opened.
South of 16th Street, 9th Avenue has reopened as well, with a roundabout at the intersection. At 10th Street, however, access remains closed south of the 16th Street intersection “to ensure public safety,” according to the Speak Up Greeley update.
Upcoming work includes the construction of the concrete seat wall and masonry wall, curb and gutter pours as well as concrete pavement pours at the 10th Avenue roundabout.
