The Chicago Bears’ best cornerbacks will be back in the fold for the team’s Black Friday game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Jaylon Johnson and Kyler Gordon will be activated from injured reserve ahead of Thursday’s deadline to have them available for Friday’s Week 13 matchup in Philly. NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport has the scoop:

Heck, the way I see it, the returning presence of Kyler Gordon and Jaylon Johnson will be a present for the Bears defense. That group has had some ups-and-downs throughout the season. But the return of two starting cornerbacks should really bolster things. At a minimum, it gives Defensive Coordinator Dennis Allen some flexibility in his secondary. And with the Bears battling through linebacker injuries, having extra defensive backs to play around with could help counter the loss of other defenders.

This is the football nerd in me speaking, but I got giggly thinking about what type of chaos Chicagos’ DC can create with a defensive alignment that includes Kyler Gordon *AND* C.J. Gardner-Johnson (who spilled the beans on Jaylon’s return on Wednesday) on the field at the same time.
