Police were investigating the fatal shooting of a 22-year-old woman in Northridge that investigators say could be gang-related.
Los Angeles police officers responded at about 1:40 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, to Bryant Street and Tampa Avenue, where witnesses told them two male suspects approached several people sitting inside a parked car and shot at them several times.
Maria De La Rosa suffered multiple gunshot wounds and died at Northridge Hospital Medical Center, where she was taken by a private vehicle, L.A. police said.
The motive for the shooting was unclear.
