The trio recently shared a steak dinner at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas for an episode of Netflix’s hit travel series Somebody Feed Phil— and Garrett also joined Romano onstage at the 2025 Emmy Awards.
Now, he’s gearing up for an even bigger reunion: "CBS Presents Everybody Loves Raymond: 30th Anniversary Reunion," airing Monday, Nov. 24.
It has been 20 years since the series finale of Everybody Loves Raymond, and audiences are invited back to the Barone living room for a great evening with one of America’s favorite TV families. In addition to Garrett, Romano, and Rosenthal, they will be joined by Patricia Heaton, Monica Horan, and the Sweeten siblings, Madylin and Sullivan, for a nostalgic celebration.
Brad GarrettGarrett expertly played Robert Barone on Everybody Loves Raymond, a police officer and the older brother of the show's main character, Ray Barone, often depicted as living in Ray's shadow and struggling with feelings of jealousy and inadequacy. His life brightened when he started dating and later married Amy, who was played by Rosenthal's actor-wife, Monica Horan. Garrett won three Primetime Emmy Awards for his work on the series.
Garrett's first Las Vegas comedy club opened 13 years ago in the hotel’s basement, nestled between a pretzel shop and the House of Magnets, which had a Speakeasy vibe. He took over a Chinese restaurant and transformed it into art deco splendor, opening the current club three years ago on Thanksgiving weekend.
“I started my career in Vegas in 1986, where I was opening for all the different acts and their headliners,” Garrett exclusively told Parade. “I have loved this town from the time I went with my father when I was growing up. It was always my city.”
An extremely grateful performer, Garrett said that show business has been great to him and he considers himself to be "an extremely lucky guy."

Garrett says that he enjoys seeing the subsequent generations of comics appearing at his club. “I always felt like I wanted to pay it forward. People were great to me when I started in the late 70s, and it’s just fun to watch these guys come here.”

While the series Everybody Loves Raymond earned 15 Primetime Emmy Awards during its nine seasons, Garrett reveals that in its first season, the series was not doing well in the ratings when it aired on Friday night.
He said he believes the success of the show was the hard work from the writers, cast, and crew that took place during 12-hour days, and the relatable material.

He also has great praise for his friends. “Ray Romano is the same wonderful guy who did the pilot for the series. He became a massive TV star, and it has not changed him one bit. He’s truly that same down-to-earth guy who is just about his craft, his family, and treating people the same way that he always did.”
Romano was asked to present the Outstanding Comedy Series award, and a few weeks before, he asked Garrett if he wanted to present it with him.
He said Rosenthal is also a sweetheart, whose Somebody Feed Phil is the dream gig for a generous man who loved feeding the cast and crew on Everybody Loves Raymond.
His buddies return the compliments, saying that filming the Las Vegas episode was a great deal of fun for all of them. “Brad is really the nicest, sweetest guy. I don’t see him enough,” Romano recently told Parade. “I wish I could see him more often.”
