RICHMOND — A man killed in a shooting over the weekend in Richmond has been identified as Griffin Hammond, a 20-year-old resident of the city, police said.

Officers arrived to find Hammond suffering from gunshot wounds.
Hammond was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
A short time later, a second person arrived at an area trauma center with a gunshot wound, according to police. Officers went to the hospital and determined the person was injured in the same incident, but their exact involvement remains under investigation.
Police said no arrests have been made in the fatal shooting, which marks the city’s third homicide of the year.
