During the Love Ride 34 show, Simmons spoke about Frehley, who died on Oct. 16 at age 74. The guitar great died two months before the band is set to receive a lifetime achievement honor at The Kennedy Center Honors ceremony.
" I want to take a moment just to tell you that somebody I've known for many decades who started the band with us, a guy named Ace Frehley,” he said, per Blabbermouth.net. “Paul and myself, and Peter Criss, we went to Ace's funeral. He sadly passed.
