ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — The Buffalo Bills are celebrating back-to-back wins after a nail-biting 28-21 victory over their rival Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday at Highmark Stadium.

Performance of Josh Allen
One story of the game was the performance of reigning MVP Josh Allen. The quarterback had two rushing touchdowns, moving him into sole possession of 26th all-time for rushing touchdowns, including in the playoffs. He passed up Hall-of-Fame running back Earl Campbell and is now just two away from Bills great running back Thurman Thomas.

“The funny thing is he’s got the same routine every week, but you can tell early when he’s just going superman mode. It’s pretty awesome,” tight end Dawson Knox said.

“Early on in the game, you know when you’re, I call it slotted, where the ball’s coming out of your hand is as good as you really want it. I’ve been working really hard over the last couple weeks trying to get back into that feeling and felt like I had a good feeling early on in this game,” Allen said.
Head Coach Sean McDermott praised Allen not just for his play on the field but for how he carries himself off it.
“It’s a real, to me, moment in Buffalo to watch him and for the kids, the young people in this community, to watch him, how he handles himself, certainly how he plays, and you see these kids with his jersey on, and rightfully so. And I stand by him because he’s that person. He’s certainly a great player, easy to stand by a great player, but you stand by a person who is both,” McDermott said.
Interception for rookie Maxwell Hairston
After missing the first six games of the season due to an injury, the Buffalo Bills’ rookie cornerback Maxwell Hairston is finally making an impact. Hairston, a first-round draft pick, caught his first interception in the NFL on Sunday at a critical moment in the fourth quarter. Hairston spoke about what the interception meant to him.
“I just play with confidence and play free, knowing I’m protected by God, and he came through. Man, I got my first interception from Pat Mahomes,” he said. “Games like this is the games that I prayed for growing up. There’s games that, as a little kid, you want to be a part of. The fact that I was part of this game tonight was truly like a dream come true.”
