ROCHESTER, N.Y. – We still have several flood warnings in effect across the region from Tuesday’s record breaking rain. Water levels should ease off by tonight through tomorrow night. Today will be cloudy and cold to start with an afternoon shower, and then we will see temperatures gradually climb into the 50s this afternoon and evening.
Tomorrow we have another big warmup in store. Southwest wind will really start to pick up, ushering in much warmer air that will reach the low 70s. Wind gusts will be noticeable but not impactful, so we stay Green on the Threat Tracker. We also have a chance for a passing rain shower earlier in the day before breaks of sunshine in the afternoon.
Saturday stays warm but with a chance of showers, and then a cold front passes early Sunday morning which will begin a cooling trend. Unfortunately temperatures will get back down all the way to the thirties again, with chances for snow showers Monday and Tuesday.
