The Washington State women opened their season with a 190-72 win over Denver on Friday evening. NCAA All-American Emily Lundgren led the way with four wins.

Lundgren swam to a 1:00.11 in the 100 breast, a 2:11.40 in the 200 breast, and a 2:01.74 in the 200 IM for her individual wins. Her 100 breast time sits at #20 in the NCAA this season while her 200 breast sits at #29 in the NCAA this season. She finaled in both events at the 2025 NCAA Championships finishing 6th in the 200 breast (2:06.18) and 16th in the 100 breast (59.17).

Lundgren also split a 59.64 to lead the team’s 400 medley relay to a win as she teamed up alongside Jade Castro, Issabelle Parrish, and Darcy Revitt for the win. The group touched in a 3:37.78.

Revitt swam to two individual wins of her own, first touching in a 22.63 in the 50 free, just missing her own pool record of a 22.55. She also won the 100 free in a 48.87. She also swam on the team’s 200 free relay that swam to a win as Parrish, Barbora Mileisyte, Kathryn Gyde, and Revitt swam to a 1:30.92. Revitt fired off a 21.97 split on the anchor leg. Revitt was also an NCAA qualifier this past season for the Cougars as she was 17th in the 50 free (21.90 and 20th in the 100 free (48.05).

Washington State’s Lauren Wille earned two wins, touching in a 1:49.24 for the win in the 200 free and a 4:51.94 in the 500 free. Her 500 free time was notably faster than she went at the Mountain West Conference Championships back in February as she swam a 4:51.98 in prelims then to make the ‘B’ final.

The Denver women were led by Sabrina Rachjaibun who scored 13 points on the day. She swam to a win in the 200 fly posting a personal best 2:00.45. She swam a 2:01.08 at the Summit League Championships in February for 2nd behind teammate Mia Moulden. Rachjaibun was also 2nd in the 500 free in the dual meet against Denver, touching in a 4:57.87.

Denver showed its strength in butterfly once again as Julia Saxman earned the win in the 100 fly with a 54.85. That was a season best for the freshman.
