MSU will be wearing maroon jerseys, white pants, and maroon helmets; however, its a special Mississippi State logo on the side of the helmet. The interlocking logo on these helmets was the Mississippi State logo from 1986 to 1995, before it was replaced with the logo we recognize now.

Mississippi State is coming off a 2-point loss to the Florida Gators. Quarterback Blake Shapen threw for over 300 yards, but he was unable to crack the end zone and threw 1 interception.
