The undefeated St. Mary of the Angels Catholic School 8th Grade Girls Volleyball Team clinched the Catholic School League Championship on Saturday in a thrilling two-set victory. The team’s incredible chemistry, hustle and unwavering support for one another were on full display throughout the match. “Their teamwork, the way they have each other’s backs the entire game, is unbelievable,” said Coach Kenzie White. “They are truly a coach’s dream!”
The win caps off an impressive season of hard work and dedication from this outstanding group of student-athletes who represented St. Mary’s with sportsmanship, faith and heart.
The success continues across all levels of St. Mary’s volleyball program:
6th/7th Grade Team Playoffs was held Wednesday, Oct. 22, at Bechtol Grove Middle School.
8th Grade Team Playoffs: Wednesday, Oct. 29, at Pomolita Middle School. Playoff game begins at 5 p.m..; if they win, the Championship Game follows at 6 p.m.
