ROCHESTER, N.Y. — RG&E has kicked off its community connection series this week in the Rochester area.
These open house events will give people the chance to have face-to-face conversations with a customer service representative without needing an appointment.
People can learn about energy assistance programs, like the Home Energy Assistance Program, (HEAP) get advice on managing your energy use before the cold weather hits, ask questions about smart meters and more.
The first one was held Tuesday night. The next one is set for Wednesday night from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Cameron Community Center in Rochester.
The last two sessions will be held next week at the following times and places:
Wednesday, Oct. 29: Greece Town Hall from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30: Irondequoit Public Library from 4-7 p.m.To learn more, visit RG&E’s website here.
