Yamada won in the Best Emerging Talent category, where she was up against her fellow The Bold and the Beautiful co-star Christian Weissmann (Remy), The Bay’s Olivia d’Abo (Fifi), and Days of Our Lives stars Ashley Puzemis (Holly) and AnnaLynne McCord (Cat).
“Thank you so much for this recognition, acting has been my dream since I gained consciousness, and my dreams are coming true right now,” she said through tears in her acceptance speech.
After a few more thank yous to the cast and her team, Yamada got to the most important people she wanted to thank, her parents.
