No Doubt adds six more shows to its residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas ...Middle East

News by : (The Orange County Register) -

No Doubt has doubled the number of nights it will play the Sphere in Las Vegas, announcing six more shows even as a pre-sale for the first six was still underway on Wednesday.

The new dates for No Doubt’s residency at the venue are May 21, May 23-24, May 27, and May 29-30. Last week the band announced the first six shows on May 6, May 8-9, May 13, and May 15-16.

Anyone who had registered for the presale by the deadline on Monday, Oct. 13. now has access to tickets for all 12 shows. Ticket sales to the general public for all shows open at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 17.

Since the band announced its split in 2015, singer Gwen Stefani has focused on her solo career, while No Doubt members Tony Kanal, Adrian Young and Tom Dumont formed the supergroup Dreamcar with AFI singer Davey Havok.

“Through all the ups and downs, the four of us have always been connected by our music, our shared experiences and lifelong friendship,” said No Doubt guitarist Tom Dumont in a statement announcing the residency. “When we are on stage together playing these songs we feel the magic. We are stoked to play together again for our fans, to celebrate their years of love and support.”

No Doubt reunited in 2024 to play both weekends of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Earlier this year, the band came together again for a set at the Fire Aid benefit concert at the Kia Forum on Jan. 30.

“For anyone who has ever cared or is curious about a No Doubt live concert, this is a special opportunity for that electric band/fan energy exchange in a very unique venue,” said drummer Adrian Young in a written statement.

The Sphere has gained much attention since it opened with a residency by U2 in late 2023 for both the quality of the sound inside the rounded venue and its ability to surround fans with visuals on nearly ever surface, sides and ceilings a fan can see.

Since the U2 residency it has seen bands such as the Eagles, Dead & Company, Backstreet Boys and more play the 17,600-seat venue. It recently expanded its offerings to include a run of screenings of a new version of the classic film “The Wizard of Oz.”
