The Eagles defense was great again in a 7-6 win over Mater Dei. Senior receiver Trent Mosley (USC commit) played for the first time since August and scored the Santa Margarita touchdown. Santa Margarita is 2-0 in the Trinity League. The Eagles play undefeated St. John Bosco on Friday at Trabuco Hills High.

The Monarchs defense was fine but the offense could not solve the Santa Margarita defense in a 7-6 loss in a Trinity League game. Mater Dei was held to 99 yards passing and 90 rushing yards. Mater Dei plays Servite on Saturday at Santa Ana Stadium

Chase Kuchera ran for two touchdowns and the Corona del Mar defense had seven sacks as the Sea Kings tightened the series that they trail 40-24. Corona del Mar plays Villa Park on Friday in a league game at El Modena High.
