Although the high country will see a brief break from the rain, more waves of occasionally heavy rainfall will come. Some of the highest elevations, 11,000 to 12,000 feet and above, may also see some snow.

Drier Sunday, but windy.Sunday sees a return of sunshine, but winds will also pick up thanks to a passing cold front in the late morning. This means dry conditions across the majority of Colorado. Winds will start from the southwest but turn to the northeast in the early afternoon. Winds will gust upwards of 30 miles per hour. Temperatures will range from the upper 60s to mid 70s in northeast Colorado, with middle 80s in the southeast, and 50s and 60s in the west.
