You looked surprised, to say the least, when you found out you had won America's Favorite Player, especially with a commanding 65% of the vote. Give me your reaction in that moment.Yeah, man, wow. That was very nice, very validating, for lack of a better term. Coming in here, I said, "Winning doesn't mean anything if I have to change who I am as a person to do it." Obviously, I didn't win, but I definitely feel like I did, being validated by so many people voting for me, and just who I am as a person, man, that felt really, really good. You were, of course, on stage to do a very important job: Casting your jury vote. What made you ultimately decide to vote for Ashley? Did it come down to the speeches? Or would you have always voted for her if she were in the Final Two?I had said during the jury roundtable that if Ashley was able to win the final HoH and take Morgan out, that would be the biggest move of the season. So that is something that, coupled with the type of game she played, made me want to vote for her.Did you get the sense that would be the case with the rest of the jury as well?Ashley would have won in the route that she did. I think the scenario that would have maybe lost Ashley the game was if Vince won and took Morgan out. If it was Vince versus Ashley in that scenario, coupled with how Vince answered our questions, I would have probably voted for Vince.Let's talk about your time in the jury house. I know you said in another interview that you and Rachel were still getting into arguments. Talk to me about your dynamic that extended into the jury.Oh, man. Rachel and I, we just like to bug each other. I've said it in in other interviews and stuff that, we have that sibling relationship. She's kind of like my older sister. Even though I have seven other siblings, I have literally never argued with any of them, not one time. So if I had a sibling that I would argue with, she's it. And I felt every bit of that in the jury house while we were playing games like Dlue and things like that. Oh god!As was brought up during a jury segment, the two of you talked about the fact that basically everything she would tell you was the truth. But you proceeded to not only not trust the information, but also spread it other people. Why did you have such a tough time trusting her in the house?Ah, man, I guess kind of up to a certain date, I couldn't give you the exact week. But I want to say that there was a lot of people talking in my ears saying, "Don't trust her. Don't trust her. Don't trust her." And even though I innately did trust her because of getting me to open up about my dad and things like that, I did have a level of trust for her when I was getting letting get people get in my ear and and that would cause me to kind of teeter a little bit on the trusting of her. And then when she nominated Rylie as the renom, that made me feel like — I had explicitly told her. I was like, "Yo, that's really bad for my game." And I respected the move. Did I feel like he needed to go home? Absolutely. He was probably going to be a very good competitor. But I just wish it wasn't at that moment. And I felt like she was not taking my game into consideration in that moment, and it made me not trust her as much, at least in that moment. Then we mended fences, hence the whole "frenemy" thing. We're friends, we're enemies, we're friends, we're enemies. So I wish I would have listened to her, obviously. But there was a couple little factors there. It wasn't so black and white. On that note, I'd be remiss if I didn't bring up the fact that fans feel you may have played with some preconceived biases. It seemed like whenever a lot of the women in the house would bring you information, like Rachel and Ashley, you would immediately think it's false. Instead, you completely trusted information from men like Rylie and Vince, who definitely did not have your best interests at heart. What's your reaction to that perception, and how did you ultimately discern who to trust?Yeah, you know what? I think that has a lot more to do with how the beginning of the game shaked out. When Jimmy put a big target on my back and then lied to me and led me basically to believe that Morgan and Mickey were the ones that were basically plotting my demise. I think that's where a lot of that initially came from. And then obviously Rachel and Ashley were both with them to some degree. So it's kind of like the house was a little bit split in that regard. And then it's kind of unfortunate, because I did trust people. En though Lauren did put me up initially, at the beginning, I did have a lot of trust for her. I know she didn't necessarily want to put me up. So I trusted Lauren, I trusted Kelley, bu they weren't the information seekers. So, I mean, that is unfortunate that's the conception out there. But that's really where it came from, mostly the beginning of the game and how that started.I just mentioned Vince. You previously told me he was like a brother to you. What has the past week been like for you reconciling your relationship, given how betrayed you felt by him for the umpteenth time when he nominated you?I mean, coming out of that eviction, I had felt very strongly that Morgan was the one to basically hit the final blow on me by winning the veto. But that was quickly changed when when I got to the jury house and they're all like, "Well, he's the one that convinced you that you were safe. So really, he is the one that put the final blow there." So, yeah, man, I'm okay with him. You know what I mean? At the end of the day, it's just a game. I know there's a lot of money on the line and things like that. But it's not even about that. I feel like the relationship that I have, that I have built with him, was sincere. There may have been insincere moments due to the fact that we were playing a game. At the end of the day, we're playing a game. But we're still boys. There were a lot of calls from fans this season to try to get you on The Challenge? Would you have any interest in doing that or any other shows now that you've kicked off your reality TV career?I had a conversation with Rachel, I think it was the same conversation that allowed me to kind of open up to he. She had asked me why I was here. I gave her my answer, and then I asked her, "Why are you here?" And she was like, "Well, you know, in this business, your days are numbered. And so you take every opportunity that you can get." And that meant a lot to me. So I didn't know what I was going to get coming out of here. But obviously, I was received relatively well. I like to think I would get other opportunities, such as The Challenge and other things. And I plan on taking every opportunity. That makes sense for me.Finally, if you could sort your Big Brother game into a D&D class, what would it be and why?Ooh, I would say, I'll always err on the side of me being a paladin. They're the tanky class, you know. I definitely took a lot of the blows. I was the target, so I definitely played the beginning like one. In the middle there, I would say I probably took a little bit of a hex blade dip, turning on my charisma and allowing myself to have a little bit more of a social game. And at the end, probably reverted back to back to a Paladin and being the righteous warrior.
