Conor McGregor has told Mike Perry he will send him packing from BKFC ‘if he underperforms’ in his next fight.

Perry faces fellow former UFC fighter Jeremy Stephens in the main event of BKFC 82 on October 4.

McGregor, who became a part-owner of the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) in April 2024, has feuded with both men during his legendary career.

Ahead of his promotion’s huge card in New Jersey next month, the Irishman has sent Perry a brutal warning if there is a repeat performance of his last fight – a sixth-round stoppage defeat to Jake Paul in the squared circle.

McGregor went on a viral rant after ‘Platinum’ lost to Paul, claiming he was released from the promotion, and he’s now threatened him with the same outcome again.

Conor McGregor threatens Mike Perry with second sacking

“Mike Perry is back to [BKFC] on October 4, New Jersey, on a trial basis only,” McGregor posted on X.

“If he underperforms, I sack him again live in front of 17,000 fans.”

Perry is arguably BKFC’s biggest star right now, having gone undefeated in five bouts since his debut in 2022.

He has defeated UFC’s past and present in the four-roped ring, earning victories over notable fighters like Michael Page, Luke Rockhold, and Eddie Alvarez.

Although McGregor claimed he ‘fired’ his star after the defeat to Paul in July, Perry told talkSPORT.com eight months later that his spot in the company was more than safe.

“Of course, I’m still with BKFC. I have stakes in the company,” he said, responding to McGregor’s claims.

“I have an extensive contract that I’m looking to fulfil, and it is just a matter of time…

McGregor could fight Perry in the four-roped ring

McGregor has also claimed for months that he will enter the BKFC ring himself, after fulfilling the last two fights on his UFC contract.

The 37-year-old has teased fans several times with a bare-knuckle debut by taking part in training sessions with no gloves.

Amid rumours of McGregor’s return to fight at the UFC White House card next year, he remains confident about making his inaugural appearance in the four-roped ring.

“I am 100 per cent fighting bare-knuckle,” McGregor wrote via X on Thursday.

‘The Notorious’ faced off with Perry after the latter’s victory over Rockhold in 2023, teasing a clash between the pair down the line.

He has previously told BKFC founder David Feldman that he is ready to ‘make the date’ for his debut in the sport, after confronting his former UFC rival Stephens in January.

Stephens, who was embarrassed by McGregor during a UFC 205 press conference in 2016, stopped Alvarez at Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center, and has also said he would lock horns with the Irishman under the BKFC banner.
