Northern Colorado communities will celebrate multiple fall festivals in the coming week, with adult beverages, educational fun or just a good time for the whole family.
The Best of the Week also includes a toy drive, a long drive competition, a car and bike show and more.
Saturday
The YES!fest: Youth and Engineering and Science Festival is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the LINC Library, 501 8th Ave., Greeley. The free festival will have science and engineering booths and exhibitors with hands-on activities for the whole family.
The 2025 Fall Family Festival is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Northern Colorado Credit Union, 2901 S. 27th Ave., Greeley. This free community event features live music, games, crafts, local vendors, giveaways and more.
The Weld Elves host their September Toy Drive from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Walmart, 3103 S. 23rd Ave., Greeley. The elves are collecting new, unwrapped toys and personal hygiene supplies for families. There will be a list of items at the drive for those who want to buy items for it.
The Northern Colorado Brew Fest 2025 is from 3-8 p.m. at Severance Community Park, 100 Waterfowl Way. The fest features more than 15 local, Colorado and out-of-state breweries. The Ultimate Car and Bike Show is from 4-8 p.m. in the Village Inn parking lot, 4318 Centerplace Drive, Greeley. The show is presented by the Combat Vets Association. All proceeds benefit the association.
Monday
Movie Monday starts at 3 p.m. at Farr Regional Library, 1939 61st Ave., Greeley. The movie “A Minecraft Movie,” rated PG, will be shown. Moviegoers are welcome to bring a blanket and snacks. Popcorn will be provided.
Tuesday
The Windsor Community Recreation Center hosts a free day for middle and high school students from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m., 250 N. 11th St. The students will have free access to swimming pools, gym space and other amenities.
Wednesday
The Wailers’ Natural Mystic 30th Anniversary takes the stage at 8 p.m. at the Moxi Theater, 802 9th St., Greeley. The reggae band was formed over 40 years ago by former members of Bob Marley and the Wailers. To purchase tickets, go to moxitheater.com. Tickets start at $37.
Thursday
Day 1 of the 2025 World Long Drive World Championship is from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Bigfoot Turf Farms, 22455 Country Road 49, LaSalle. More than 120 of the world’s best long drivers will compete to see who can hit a golf ball the farthest. The golfing championship ends Saturday. Admission is free.
Friday, Sept. 26
The FirstBank Fiesta is from 3-5 p.m. at the FirstBank located at 4322 W. 9th St. Road, Greeley. This free community event will have food from local restaurants, family activities and more.
