Fox NFL Sunday will look a little different this week.
Ahead of the huge Super Bowl LIX rematch between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles, Terry Bradshaw, Michael Strahan, Rob Gronkowski & co. are hitting the road.

But for the first time ever, the crew will deliver a two-hour broadcast from the Kansas City Power & Light District and Arrowhead Stadium — which has been subject to recent relocation rumors.
This special airing of Fox NFL Sunday will culminate in America’s Game of the Week, between the Eagles and Chiefs, and around 3,000 fans are expected to soak in the atmosphere in downtown KC.
Once the pregame show concludes at 1:00pm (Eastern Time), the Fox cast will set up outside Arrowhead to provide halftime coverage and analysis of the early games.
They will then move inside for additional coverage that builds towards the much-anticipated Chiefs vs Eagles match-up.
Clearly, Fox are doing everything they can to set the stage for a huge Week 2 game that could break NFL ratings records.
Eagles-Chiefs rematch set to smash NFL records
After viewership for the opening weekend of the season was up for 2025, Fox’s broadcast of KC vs Philly will be nationally televised to the entire country at 4:25pm.
Two other games on CBS will take place in the same window (kicking off at 4:05pm), but the Denver Broncos-Indianapolis Colts and Carolina Panthers-Arizona Cardinals match-ups are not expected to generate the same interest.
If the Chiefs-Eagles game is to set a new record, the number to beat will be 27.87 million viewers, which was the audience for KC vs the Cincinnati Bengals on CBS last season.
That was the largest Week 2 NFL rating for at least 35 years.

Their regular season clashes have generated serious interest too.
In 2023, the rematch of Super Bowl LVII was the most-watched Monday Night Football game in 27 years, with more than 29m viewers across ESPN, ESPN2, ABC and streaming platforms.
Kansas City alone were featured in four of the ten most-watched games of the 2024 regular season, and the team averaged 25.5m viewers.
