Damascus, SANA – Interior Minister Anas Khattab today inaugurated on Saturday the Civil Status Center in the Yalbugha Complex in Damascus, as part of the ministry’s efforts to enhance the quality of government services and simplify procedures for citizens.
Following a tour of the center’s departments, accompanied by his Assistant for Civil Affairs, Brigadier General Ziad Al-Ayesh, Minister Khattab told reporters that the center represents a first transitional phase to improve the quality of services provided to citizens and reduce the burdens on them, until the final visual identity that the ministry is working on designing is approved at the beginning of next year.
This step comes as part of a series of measures undertaken by the Ministry of Interior since liberation to rehabilitate the infrastructure and raise the level of services provided to citizens, in line with the requirements of the current phase, and enhance the path of digital transformation in government work.
