The submission of the bid documents needs to be completed by September 16, while the IEOI can be purchased for a non-refundable fee of INR 5,90,000, as per a release by the board. Speaking to news agency ANI, BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia informed that the board and Dream11 are discontinuing their relationship. The decision comes after the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Bill 2025 came in as a law following the signature of President Draupadi Murmu. As a result, Team India are now left without a sponsor. An Indian Express report claimed that the BCCI will float a tender in the future to find a new sponsor.
