Harry Kane scored the only goal as England ran out 1-0 winners in Barcelona.
However, Tuchel suffered a setback just days later in a surprise friendly defeat to Senegal at The City Ground.
It was the first loss of his tenure, with the visit of Andorra his first match since the defeat.
The hosts could move within just one win of a place at the World Cup in Canada, Mexico and the USA by beating both the Tricolors and Serbia this month.
They won all seven previous meetings with Andorra without conceding a goal.

England vs Andorra: Team news
Tuchel named a 24-man squad for the matches against Andorra and Serbia last Friday.
Jude Bellingham, Bukayo Saka and Cole Palmer all missed out through injury.
There was also no room in the side for Jack Grealish despite his impressive start at Everton as well as Real Madrid’s new signing Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Adam Wharton was included by Tuchel but has withdrawn due to injury with AC Milan midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek called up.
Bayer Leverkusen defender Jarell Quansah has also joined up with the senior squad.

Tuchel called for his players to show a ‘different energy’ this month after their underwhelming performances in June.
Speaking to reporters at his squad announcement, he explained: “I expect a different feeling, a different energy because we simply have to play with a different energy, a different feeling.
“When the players arrive on Tuesday, we will make sure everyone is aware we have two important qualifiers. We have to bring more energy.”
Tuchel said Alexander-Arnold and Grealish remain in his thoughts despite not being picked for this international break.
“First of all, we decided on a bit more competitive squad,” Tuchel said. “There is no doubt that I’m a big fan of Trent and Jack because of their talent and their personalities.
“They are big players. They will always be big players, and they will always be in the mix to be called up.
“I know that both of them are desperate to come back, which is really important.
“So competition is up, then they will stay in the mix. I know how desperate they are to come back but they can maybe have a bit more rhythm.”
Tuchel also admitted that Kyle Walker had fallen behind Reece James in the pecking order.
“I’m a big fan of Kyle. I tried to sign him several times in my career, and I know what he can bring to any team,” he said.
“He decided for a new challenge in Burnley, so it’s a key player and I admire him for this, for his courage to do a step like this, to stay in the strongest league and to go for a completely new challenge in his career.
“But I think his (Reece) position is slightly ahead at the moment with how he ended the season and how he played for us in the camps, won the Club World Cup a key player for Chelsea at the moment, and he has been excellent for us.”
