AUSTIN (KXAN) — One person died and 4 others were hospitalized after alleged drug overdoses at a 6th Street bar early Tuesday morning, according to Austin Police Watch Command.
APD said an employee of the Buckshot Bar, located at 519 East 6th Street, called 911 around 3:00 a.m. Tuesday.
The 4 people in the hospital are expected to survive, APD said. Watch Command also told KXAN that it believes all five people were employees of the bar.
APD didn't release information about which drug caused the overdoses.
