ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Labor Day will feature more beautiful weather across the region as a large area of high pressure brings dry and mild conditions this afternoon. Temps later this morning will be in the 60s for the parade and plan on mid 70s for any picnics this afternoon. Winds will be light and no chance for rain.
Looking ahead to tonight a few clouds may try and briefly move in for a few hours and that may impact our ability to see the northern lights. There is a chance to see them in the Rochester region Monday night so check in for updates this evening on News10NBC.
Tuesday is back to school for many and the morning forecast is looking good. Mainly clear, cool and dry weather in the morning and then sunshine and mild weather near 80 in the afternoon. More kids head back on Wednesday and the weather looks great once again midweek. Our next chance for rain and thunder will be later on Thursday with a cold front.
