Williams suffered the concussion on a play midway through the fourth quarter. After dropping a pass, Williams collided with a pair of Florida State defenders before landing awkwardly head-first into the turf. Williams stayed down and received medical attention before being taken out of the game.

Williams was unable to return to the field, exiting Alabama’s defeat with just 5 catches on 11 targets.
